RELIGIOUS MODERATION AT MAN ALOR

 

Today, 19 July 2022 activities carried at school MAN alor about Religious Moderation.

The activities today invite speakers from Kemenag Alor district  that is Mr. Nurdin Abdullah ( The head of BIMAS Islam Alor  district) and Mr. Mansur Samah ( The head Of Islamic Education Alor District)

Religious moderation is a perspective, attitude, and practice of religion in common life by embodying the essence of religous teachings that protect human dignity and build benefits based on the principles of fairness,balance, and obey the constitution as a state agreement”. By Nurdin Abdullah

For other definition moderation of religion is interpreted as a progress or change in society in the field of religion and belief to become tolerant among fellows tribes, races, but does not ignore the religious value of it.

One example of religious moderation today is the existence of the term alms of the earth or clean village.

From point of view Mr. Mansur which explain religious moderation in relation to islamic education. In forum he said “ we need to respect others people’s opinions even thought they are wrong” it’s means that everyone has the right to express an opinion whether it’s right or wrong.

 Mr. Mansur added “Smart students are not necessarly successful” this means that students who are smart in class may only be technically smart but not necessarily succesful in life.

Strengthening religious moderation in schools must prioritize the value of integrity. Solidarity and tolerance. These basic values are an important part of effort to develop islamic rahmatan lil’alamin.

The activity took place in an orderly manner brought cassualy by Mc mr. Jubair Manibuka whose the ability to bring the audience to discussion forum. For discussion forum have a some question from students about the religious moderation. One of question from Sufirah Masang for Mr. Nurdin Abdullah about Nurdin’s statement is that islam is easy to be free, while the view of  Fira is Islam Siraatal Mustakiim.

Events Religious Moderation closed with prayer by Mr.Syafrudin and all of participan feel happy gave a new information especially the students.
